Gamescom 2016; Trailers

Hi Guys,
As you are all probably aware, Gamescom is currently under way in Germany, and to accompany this event there have been a whole bunch of trailers released so here are the weird and wonderful trailers for your viewing pleasure!

In a new ViDoc Bungie have further pulled the curtain back on what we will be up to once Rise of Iron releases on September 20th. We get the bombshell announcement that Private Matches will be added into the game, meaning tournaments as well as PvP fun times are now possible. I don't know how far the competitive Destiny scene will go but this is a very exciting time to be a Guardian!

Next up we have the trailer to accompany the news that there will be a Titanfall 2 beta this weekend, as well as the weekend after! So that is the 19th-21st and then again on the 26-28th of August! This is really shaping up to be interesting so I will play the Beta and report back to you all! Titanfall 2 releases on October 28th

Here we have my most exciting game releasing in 2016, Battlefield is once again being release by DICE and this time they are treating us to Battlefield 1, which as the name suggest is set in World War I. EA seem to like their Betas close together so the Battlefield 1 Beta will be live just after the second Titanfall 2 Beta on the 31st of August for an unknown period, though I would expect 7-10 days! Battlefield 1 will storm onto your console or PC on October 21st

.... Here we are once again with another Call of Duty with the heavily saturated Zombie game mode. Except this time Activision and Infinity Ward want even more of your money, as the featured Spaceland map is only available for pre orders. It is unclear if there will be a map that is included in the base version of the game, but knowing the franchise I wouldn't count my chickens. Call of Duty Infinite Warfare will make some kind of entrance on November 4th

And the zombie trend continues with the truly bizarre looking Metal Gear Survive, the first installation in the franchise without the involvement of Hideo Kojima. I can't properly comment on this trailer as I have never played a Metal Gear game, but I will say that it doesn't look like it totally deserves the name of Metal Gear. Metal Gear Survive has a release window of 2017

Penultimately we have a trailer showing off Watch_Dogs 2's multiplayer features, whether you want to group up with a friend, battle off an invader or claim and defend bounties there seems to be a decent range of activities. As far as I'm aware it hasn't been confirmed whether there will be a "traditional" multiplayer experience like in Watch_Dogs 1 which pitted teams of players against each other, this is still a game that is very much on my radar! Watch_Dogs 2 will hack itself onto your console or PC on November 15th

Lastly we have the trailer for an upcoming map that will be added for free into Overwatch, this is a game that I really enjoy, so new content coming to it will always be welcomed. This is helped by the fact that the map looks really awesome, with the bodies of fallen Overwatch members strewn around the map, including a Reinhardt sitting upon a throne in what appeared to be the final room! No date was given for the release apart from "Coming Soon".
